Road users are advised that overnight temporary traffic signals will be in place from Monday 28 April 2025 throughout the Tomatin to Moy project corridor on the A9 for 2 weeks.
As part of work being undertaken to dual the A9 between Tomatin and Moy, traffic signals will be in place at various locations between 1900 and 0600 each night commencing at 1900 on Monday 28 April for two weeks. No works will take place on Saturday or Sunday evenings, works will re-commence following the weekend at 1900 on Monday 5th May.
A temporary speed restriction of 30mph will also be implemented during the overnight works in the works area to safely manage traffic flows and minimise disruption to road users.
Emergency and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
These temporary traffic signals are necessary to ensure road user and road worker safety and to safely manage traffic whilst work is undertaken.
Road users are advised to approach the area with care and allow extra time for their journeys whilst these works are undertaken.
Please note, all works are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable. Please refer to the Traffic Scotland website for live updates.
